NC History Book Club: Between The Lines
As part of Chatham County’s year-long celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the Chatham County Historical Association (CCHA) is hosting an NC History Book Club: Between the Lines, held on the third Saturday of Every month in 2026, from 9:30am-10:30am. This monthly book club will explore North Carolina’s rich history through engaging nonfiction. Whether you’re a lifelong history lover or are simply curious about the people and events that shaped our state, join CCHA for conversation and lively discussion.
Our kick-off selection for January 2026 is Farming Dissenters: The Regulator Movement in Piedmont, North Carolina, by Carole Troxler, the little-known story of how a group of North Carolina farmers helped to set the stage for the American Revolution
