NC the Beautiful: Dan River Cleanup

Celebrate Great Trails State Day by giving back to one of North Carolina’s designated State Trails! Join volunteers as we remove litter from the Dan River and surrounding river access areas, helping protect wildlife, improve water quality, and keep the river beautiful for paddlers, anglers, and future generations. This cleanup is part of North Carolina the Beautiful, the America 250 NC statewide cleanup initiative celebrating stewardship of our state’s natural and cultural resources. Whether you’re on the water or along the shoreline, every helping hand makes a difference.
