First Day Hike (Salmon Creek State Natural Area)

Join park ranger Katie Sanford for a leisurely, approximately 2-mile hike at Bertie Beach. This county-owned property adjoins Salmon Creek State Natural Area in Merry Hill, NC. Learn about local plants and wildlife, as well as some of the history of the area. Dress for the weather, and wear your walking shoes!
