Winter Trails day at Sugar Mountain Resort is an annual celebration of a snow-crunching cold-weather sport: snowshoeing. Get a unique perspective walking above the snow while you take in the incredible vistas from atop Sugar Mountain. The resort offers free guided snowshoe tours and rental equipment all throughout the day, happening on January 3, 2023. Trekking through Sugar Mountain’s magical and snowy mountaintop trails is a perfect way to kick off 2023: North Carolina’s Year of the Trail.

Guided tours are offered every hour on the hour, and registration begins at the ski/snowboard school 15 minutes prior.
