Where

NC Museum of Art
2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC, 27607

To celebrate NC Year of the Trail, the Great State Trails Coalition hosted a juried art competition, challenging artists to create artwork themed around the story of “Why trails are important to North Carolinians and our visitors.” Five artists were chosen, and you can meet those artists and purchase their work at this special event. The artwork they created brings out the unique style of each artist, boldly focusing on what Year of the Trail means to them.

Insider Tip: Since it’s National Trails Day, plan extra time on your visit to explore the trails and eye-popping art at the Museum Park: https://ncartmuseum.org/visit/museum-park/

You can also bike or walk to the park via the Capital Area Greenway.
