SUMMARY:Appalachian Trail Slackpacking Trip
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever thought about joining one of our AT Backpacking Trips but aren’t sure about camping\, this trip is for you! Hike some of our favorite sections of the AT as day hikes\, then return to our Appalachian Trail-er bunkhouse each night to sleep. Each day\, we’ll hike approximately 6-8 miles over mostly rolling terrain with a couple of challenging uphill sections. Enjoy great views from Rich Mountain Firetower and Lovers Leap and get a taste for Appalachian hiking!

DESCRIPTION:Table Rock Ultras 50k/30k is one of the most scenic and popular races in the Southeast!!! What better way to spend a day than running through the beautiful Pisgah National Forest and up to the summit of Table Rock Mountain in the Linville Gorge!\nOur start/finish host is the family-friendly Steele Creek Park and Campground\, which makes for an awesome base camp. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail\, a 1\,000+ mile trail that connects western and eastern North Carolina\, and scenic places in between\, including part of both courses! This race is permitted through the US Forest Service – Grandfather Ranger District.\nRegistration is open! Sign up fast cause this race will sell out! Sold out in as early as three days in past years!!!
