DESCRIPTION:GENERAL INFORMATION: \nSugar Mountain Resort’s 9th annual Summit Crawl is a fun and competitive event via foot to Sugar Mountain’s 5\,300’ peak by way of the Easy Street\, Gunther’s Way\, and Northridge slopes. Summer Trail Map \nSTATS: \n\nDistance – approximately 6\,500 ft. or 1.2 miles\nVertical climb: 1\,200 ft.\n\nENTRY FEE: (includes t-shirt & down-loading on Summit Express): \nREGISTRATION:\n• Download Registration Form\n• Register Online\nCompetitors can ride the Summit Express back to the base of Sugar Mountain Resort. The competitor’s bib grants him/her a lift ride back to the base of the mountain. It is a one-way lift ticket. \n\nAdults (Ages 13 and older) $50\nChildren (Ages 12 and under) $40\n\nEntry fee is non-refundable. \nREGISTRATION:\nRegister in-person M-F from 8am until 4pm or online anytime until 4pm\, Tuesday\, July 1.\nRegistration closes at 4pm on Tuesday\, July 1. No event day registration.\nNon-registered individuals are not permitted to participate and will be considered trespassing. \nLimited to 400 Competitors \nStart Time/Location: 9:00AM\, slope-side on the gravel/dirt road directly in front of the Base Lodge \nRoute: The designated route begins slope-side on the gravel/dirt road directly in front of the base lodge. It travels in between the bottom station of the Summit Express lift and the Ski/Snowboard School building. Next\, is a left turn up the Easy Street slope until a right turn is made onto the Laurel Lane slope. From there\, cross under the GW lift and head straight up the Gunther’s Way slope. That will continue straight onto the Northridge slope\, which will take you to the finish at the summit. \nThe route will be marked on event day. \nPACKET-PICKUP: Sugar Mountain Resort Base Lodge \n\nThursday\, July 3\, 10am until 6pm\nFriday\, July 4\, 7am until 8am\n\nGENERAL PUBLIC SUMMIT EXPRESS LIFT RIDE TIMES AND RATES FOUND HERE \n \nFIRST AID/WATER STATIONS sponsored by Lowes Foods are available on Gunther’s Way and at the summit. \nAWARDS: Approximately 11:00am-11:30am on the slope-side deck \nPETS are welcome but they must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed to participate in the Summit Crawl or ride on the Summit Express lift.
