MTA First Day Hike – Point Lookout Trail in Old Fort

Join the MTA on a 5-mile hike to Point Lookout on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The Old Fort Trailhead is located at the end of Old Highway 70 about 3 miles west of Old Fort.

Old Fort and surrounding areas are recovering from Hurricane Helene. The Point Lookout Trail is open, but you will see areas that were affected by the storm. Hikers are expected to stay on the paved trail.
