Children’s Art Gallery in the Forest

RoCo Art Alliance in Rockingham County is supporting grades, classes, and/or after school clubs and groups to participate in an upcoming arts and humanities event: the Creative Trail’s Forest Gallery at Mayo River State Park on October 19th from 4 pm to 6 pm. Rockingham County Arts Council provides canvases and paints to teachers and afterschool club leaders for students to create pieces that will be displayed in the Children’s Art Forest Gallery. This year’s theme is “Cherish the Wild,” and we encourage students to express their understanding of nature through their artwork. The public is invited to view the gallery and enjoy live music along the trail during the Creative Trail event – same time, same place.
